Fitness Friday

Well I am almost finished my third week of ICU... and let's just say that I am TIRED!
Needless to say my workouts have been more sporadic this month due to my schedule.
Here was the workout I did yesterday after coming home from the hospital

10 minute warm up of your choice (I biked, you could run, skip, dance... you choose!)

10 times through the following intervals:

2 minute run (5 km speed or so... fairly hard but not a sprint)
15 dumbbell/ barbell lifts (lift the bar to just under your chin, elbows pointed outwards)
25 ab-ball sit ups
10 box jumps
30 straight leg raises per leg (sitting with back to wall, lift leg straight up to about 1 foot off the floor and then lower for 30 reps, then switch legs)

And don't forget to stretch!
And if you can, eating something with both carbs and protein within 15 minutes of doing a workout will make the most of all that hard work you just did!
